Motion Activation

In the course of research and development for performing user recognition on mobile devices, Seal has developed algorithms for background detection of motion and orientation features that facilitate activation of applications by motion.

The company recently released a beta version of its QuickDraw product that allows users to activate key applications on their phones by the orientation in which the device is held.

QuickDraw includes a developer feature that allows developers to call a simple API to embed their own applications in QuickDraw’s menu of actions so that any app can be activated at the flick of a user’s wrist.

The company plans to release additional specialized products based on motion activation in the areas of personal protection, discreet surveillance and mobile photography.
